The Global Value Analysis (Continuous Improvement) Manager is a key position within the JBT Corporate team. This position reports to the VP of Continuous Improvement and significantly contributes to the overall JBT leadership function by championing the Value Analysis Value Engineering efforts for all business unit. Responsibilities This role is responsible for identifying, coordinating, implementing VAVE savings projects that ensure each Business Unit met or exceed a 5% YOY savings objective. This position will work closely with Engineering, sourcing, supply chain, RCI, operations and quality teams across all JBT business units. This role also requires providing analytics, coaching and training in building a world class VAVE culture and Continuous Improvement tools. This position is responsible for leading, supporting, and facilitating the continuous improvement activities in both manufacturing and office processes throughout JBT worldwide. Specific responsibilities include:
Utilize Lean and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive a culture of learning, a dedication to ongoing improvement, and a focus on sustainable results. Plan, develop, train, and execute various projects and workshops to implement Value Analysis and Value Engineering methodologies. Provide leadership for the effective and timely execution of VAVE savings for each JBT site. Utilize strategic planning initiatives, JBT Operating System, KPI results, daily management performance, Tableau (BI) dashboards for each site/function. Lead Kaizen events as needed and further develop processes for Kaizen event management and Kaizen event leader training. Lead the Relentless Continuous Improvement Team (RCIT) to help drive lean initiatives and recognize successes. Lead and coordinate the overall RCI training activities. Provide training as needed. Coordinate with and support Corporate RCI and other JBT site activities. Gain understanding of JBT Engineering and Operations systems to create solutions to manage VAVE Funnel Communications with various levels including management, Business Unit leadership, Engineering, supply chain, project management at both Senior and Junior levels. Support cost saving analytics and identify opportunities through part standardization, part design, new product development and design for assembly / manufacturing Other responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other technical discipline. Strong working knowledge of Value Analysis Value Engineering and continuous improvement tools. SAVE International Certification preferred Lean / Six Sigma Black-belt preferred Minimum of 10 years applicable experience in lean, engineering, manufacturing, or project management Proven success improving both manufacturing and office processes in build-to-order manufacturing environments with multiple sites. Manage multiple projects working independently and on global teams, both in-person and virtual. Ability to problem solve and lead others in problem-solving activities. High integrity and ethics, ensures confidentiality of all pricing strategies for the organization. Analytical, ability to review and interpret data and make recommendations and decisions. Lean certification, related experience and/or proven mastery of lean enterprise concepts. Outstanding influence and persuasion capability. Ability to be a change agent by teaching and coaching others at all levels, without direct authority. Strong training skills, both preparing and presenting training materials. Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems like JDE, Infor LN or Syteline Strong Microsoft Teams, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills utilized as an approach towards decision making. Ability to travel including international assignments. Reports to

$150K -- $200K
